Missouri Teen Makes Anti Bullying Video From Bedroom That Becomes A Viral Video

A Liberty, Missouri teenager made an anti-bullying video and posted it on YoutTube, becoming an internet hit.

The video is only a minute and 55 seconds, and gets the message across with sticky notes and “How To Save A Life” by The Fray playing in the background.

“I think you should stand up for whats right” — A post it note from Jacob Barnes anti-bullying video.

Jacob Barnes, who is 15, knows just how bullying can effect a person.  His friend committed suicide last year after being a victim of bullying.  Local news station KCTV tracked the teen down and interviewed Barnes.

“”Bullying victims were messaging me saying, ‘Thank you,’” Jacob said. “I see things differently now. People are trying to help.”

More than 160,000 students each day in schools across the United States skip classes because they fear bullying. Jacob said it’s a daily issue that students face and he wants more action to combat it.” — KCTV Report on YouTube Video
