Teen Stabs Man Who Slapped His Mother, Ends Up Arrested
In Fairfield, California, a teenager may have used some excessive force while trying to protect his mother from her boyfriend who was slapping her around.
The teenager, who is 15 years old, saw the 29-year-old boyfriend strike the 34-year-old woman in the face several times. The teen then went into the kitchen, grabbed a 7 inch blade, then began stabbing the man in the back. The teen stabbed the man five times. He was seriously injured when police arrived, and was taken to the hospital for treatment.
The man was not charged with any crime. However, the teen was arrested and charged with assault with a deadly weapon. A criminal complaint has been filed to charge the man with felony domestic violence, but that is up to the district attorney’s office to formally file.
The man is expected to survive. The teenager was being held in a juvenile detention facility.
