A man who was let out of prison in 2009, found himself a 14 year old runaway, and began selling sex with her over the internet.
38 year old Reginal Hardy, was released from federal prison in 2009 after serving 17 years for drug trafficking. Now he is facing charges related to the pimping of the teenage girl. Hardy met the runaway from Orlando when she was 14. He then began having sex with her, and physically abusing her, while at the same time pimping her out via social networking sites.
Brevard county sheriff’s department was conducting an online prostitution sting when they came across the ads placed by Hardy. When they found the teen, she had bite marks on her back and neck, and scratches and bruises on her body. The teen girl was taken to Crosswinds Youth Services, and is set to be reunited with her family.
Two other people were arrested in relation to the prostitution. 21 year old Phillip Johnson and 30 year old Jessica Sockabasin. The
teenage girl is also facing prostitution charges according to the Orlando Sentinel.
Johnson is facing a charge related to the prostitution. Sockabasin is facing a slew of charges and has a record that includes arrests in March of this year and June of 2010 in Brevard county.
