Half Wit Gets Busted For Shooting By Bragging On Facebook
Half wit in Des Moines, Iowa gets arrested after bragging about getting away with a crime on Facebook.
18 year old Hunter Dykstra, a man with an already full rap sheet, is sitting in jail again. He was arrested earlier this month on an unrelated charge of willful injury. After getting out of the jail, he went home and logged onto Facebook. That’s where he decided to brag to his friends.
Dykstra bragged about being released from jail and not busted for “shooting up a house”. Probably not the best thing to do, when police are actively looking for the person responsible.
Dykstra was picked up and charged with intimidation with a weapon. He is being charged in a November 2011 drive by shooting of a home that resulted in the shooting of a 13 year old girl. The girl did survive. Which is the reason he did not get charged with murder.
“Hunter was released from the Warren County Sheriff’s office. We obtained some information that he was bragging on a social network site about being released and not being locked up. He’s fortunate that he’s not here on an attempted murder charge instead of an intimidation with a weapon charge. And we’re also fortunate that this young lady that was struck wasn’t more severely hurt.” — Des Moines Police spokesman Sgt. Chris Scott
He is being held on a $50,000 bond in the Polk county jail. He also has other pending charges that include operating while intoxicated, eluding, interference with official acts and assault. Those charges are from this year alone.
This very well may be a man who is a seriously dangerous man, who according to his Facebook page likes to party and wrestle.
