11 Year Old Boy Is "Owned" By Two Girls

In Fort Meyers, Florida, an 11 year old boy was “owned” in what the police originally called a “prank”.

A video posted on You Tube shows a couple of middle school girls in what appears to be kids goofing off.  But if you continue to watch the video, it shows that this is more than a “prank”.

The video shows the two girls holding the boy down, one at the arms/neck and the other holding the boys feet.  The boy cries out for his mother and for help, and begs the girls to stop.  All the while, the girls are still pinning the boy down, and remove his bathing suit.  The boy is left laying in the grass naked, as the girls run off.

Throughout the entire event, the girls filmed their assault and then posted the video on You Tube.  The video was up for at least 24 hours.

Initially the police responded to the victims home, and took a report.  Later it was discovered that the case had been considered closed. A local news agency, Fox 4, began to question the Fort Meyers Police Department about the incident.  Shortly after the questions were asked, the police showed back up at the home of the victim and asked how they wanted to proceed, as what was on video was at minimum a misdemeanor battery charge for touching the boy when he didn’t want them to touch him.  However, for that to happen, the mother must press charges.

The mother wants to see the girls punished, but not ruin the rest of their lives.  But as she points out, had her son done this to the girls, the police would have showed up and arrested him for attempted rape or some other sexual assault charge.

The City of Fort Meyers attorney E.B. Newberry, admits to Fox 4 that there is a “double standard”.  She also points out that if the police pursued it, the girls could additionally be charged for child pornography for recording and posting the video.

“Kids need to know they can’t do these things and get off without anything. But I also don’t think that their future should be ruined either. It’s a Catch-22.” – E.B. Newberry
