Judge Belvin Perry is sticking to his timeline

Judge Belvin Perry doesn’t play when it comes to following his instructions.  A couple of months ago, Judge Perry set the date for the trial of Casey Anthony, who stands accused of killing her daughter Caylee Anthony.

Judge Perry has set the trial date for May 2011.  And to make sure that the attorneys for both sides do not delay this case any longer, he has set some deadlines in the case.  The big one is that each side (defense and prosecutor) has until September 20, 2010 to review which motions are still valid.  Apparently between the two sides, there is a slew of motions and rather than him going through them all to determine which ones are still valid, he is making the attorneys do it.  Figure out which one’s they filed that are no longer valid.

Judge Perry has been instrumental in moving this case forward, and has the support of all of us locals here in Orange County.  We are tired of seeing the attorney waste tax payer money to drag this case out.  It’s time for her to go to trial, and get this over with.
